Biden’s History of Mental Decline: Top Secret Documents Lost

(DailyAnswer.org) – Department of Justice Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report highlights President Joe Biden’s decline in mental health as well as revealing that the 81-year-old president’s mishandling of highly classified information predates the investigation by several years. As Hur is set to testify before House Republicans in March, the report states that it is unable to determine whether the highly sensitive material was ever recovered and that the top secret briefing book may have been “wilfully” mishandled as far back as 2010 while Biden was on vacation in the Hamptons.

The Special Counsel said earlier in February 2024 that he would not recommend charges against the president despite evidence indicating that he knowingly mishandled the classified materials and that he would recommend the same even if there were no policy against indicting a sitting president. Hur concluded that Biden would present himself as a sympathetic elderly man with good intentions who has a poor memory if tried.

Hur also noted that Biden could not remember when his term as vice president ended or when his son Beau Biden died from cancer. The president has hit back at the report’s findings, claiming that his memory is “fine.” Former President Donald Trump has compared the case to his own trial, arguing that it demonstrates that Biden is improperly targeting Republicans by misusing the justice system. Records from the National Archives indicate, however, that Biden’s legal team cooperated with the inquiry.

In contrast, Trump has been accused of deliberately withholding classified documents from both National Archives investigators and the FBI, which was noted by Hur in his report when he noted that these allegations suggest that Trump not only withheld documents but also obstructed justice by lying about it.

In his defense, Biden’s legal team claimed that the interviews referred to were conducted at a busy time after the October 7 attack. Before the release of Hur’s report, White House Counsel Ed Siskel wrote to Attorney General Merrick Garland arguing that the Republican Counsel was violating the Justice Department’s policies. He claimed that Hur referred to Biden’s mental capabilities in a general sense with no purpose relating to law enforcement. Hur will now have to answer to Republican House Representatives, as Biden still insists that he is the most qualified candidate to serve as president.
