Disney VP Caught on Camera: Company Won’t Hire White Males

(DailyAnswer.org) – A hidden camera caught Disney Senior Vice President Michael Giordana admitting that the company would not hire white males.

James O’Keefe posted videos of Giordana speaking with an undercover reporter from O’Keefe Media Group about the hiring practices of the Walt Disney Company on Twitter. O’Keefe, who first gained national attention in 2009, founded the group Project Veritas and served as chairman until he was dismissed in February 2023.

In the videos, Giordano discussed the alleged discriminatory hiring practices against white males at Disney.

In the first video, Giordano notes that there were times when the company said, “There’s no way we’re hiring a white male for this.” Giordano confirmed that while the idea is often unspoken, there have been times when executives blatantly made the comments.

In a second video, Giordano acknowledged that Disney’s alleged discriminatory hiring practices have affected him, as he stated he is “well positioned” for a promotion as he has worked at the company for 11 years. However, he noted he may not get the promotion because Disney is not looking to promote white males.

According to Giordano, Disney justifies its discriminatory hiring practices by using acceptable code words and buzzwords in the job description criteria, such as stating the company is “not looking at the usual suspects for this job.” He added that the company is careful with its wording because they do not want a lawsuit.

Giordano claimed Disney believes diversity will help make the company “more money if we appeal to a wider variety of people,” meaning that “it’s a good thing.”

Following the video’s release, Giordano’s LinkedIn page was either made private or had been deleted.

On Twitter, Elon Musk shared the video, writing, “This is messed up.”

Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee also shared the video, writing, “Disney’s lawyers will be busy. Very busy,” adding that discriminatory hiring practices have been against the law for over 60 years.
