ICE Reveals Biden Admin Freed Illegal Gang Members

(DailyAnswer.org) – Four Venezuelan nationals connected to the violent Tren de Aragua gang were arrested in Colorado and are confirmed to be in the U.S. illegally, according to ICE. The suspects, ages 19 to 24, crossed the southern border through Texas in 2022 and 2023, under the Biden administration’s watch. These men were involved in a shooting near the Nome Street Apartments in Aurora, which had been overtaken by members of their gang.

The arrested men include Jhonnarty Dejesus Pacheco-Chirinos and his brother, Jhonardy Jose Pacheco-Chirinos, who goes by the nickname “Cookie” or “Galleta.” Both are members of the Tren de Aragua gang, a dangerous criminal group that operates in both Venezuela and the U.S. Jhonnarty has been charged with attempted murder, while his brother “Cookie” faces charges for assault with a deadly weapon.

Two other suspects, Nixon and Dixon Azuaje-Perez, were arrested for tampering with evidence in connection to the same shooting. Both of them are also linked to the Tren de Aragua gang. Aurora police are now investigating all four men as part of this violent criminal network.

The Tren de Aragua gang has around 5,000 members, and their activities include drug and human trafficking. Recently, video footage from an apartment in Aurora, Colorado, went viral, showing armed gang members breaking into a home. This shocking incident has raised concerns about the growing influence of this criminal group in the U.S.

ICE confirmed that both the Pacheco brothers were encountered by Border Patrol agents in Texas in October 2022, after crossing the border illegally. They were released into the U.S. with notices to appear for further proceedings. Similarly, Nixon and Dixon were apprehended at Eagle Pass, Texas in August 2023 and also given notices to appear.

Aurora City Council member Danielle Jurinsky blamed the Biden administration for its failure to secure the border, claiming this allowed dangerous criminals like the Tren de Aragua gang members to harm communities across the country. The arrest of these gang members highlights the ongoing problem of border security.
