(DailyAnswer.org) – Jake E. Lee, known for his work as a guitarist with Ozzy Osbourne, Badlands, and Red Dragon Cartel, was shot multiple times in Las Vegas on Tuesday. Despite his injuries, his spokesperson has confirmed that he is expected to make a full recovery.

The incident took place early in the morning while Lee was out walking his dog. According to Las Vegas police, the shooting appears to have been random. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

In a statement to the media, Lee’s rep said, “Jake E. Lee was shot multiple times but is fully conscious and recovering in the intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital.” They added, “Lee and his family appreciate privacy during this difficult time.”

Las Vegas police responded to the shooting at around 2:42 a.m.. They found Lee suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately transported him to the hospital. The authorities have not released any further details, and Lee’s family has not made any additional comments.

Jake E. Lee rose to fame in the 1980s as Ozzy Osbourne’s lead guitarist, playing on iconic albums such as Bark at the Moon and The Ultimate Sin. After leaving Osbourne’s band in 1985, he went on to form his own group, Badlands, before eventually founding Red Dragon Cartel in 2013.

In recent years, Lee spoke about a potential reunion with Osbourne. He shared that Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s wife and manager, had contacted him around 2010 about a possible comeback. Lee said he was open to the idea, but he wanted a longstanding issue with his songwriting credits for Bark at the Moon resolved before moving forward. Unfortunately, the reunion never happened, as Sharon never followed up.

Despite this, Lee has remained active in the music scene, continuing to perform and record with Red Dragon Cartel. Fans are undoubtedly hoping for his swift recovery, so he can return to the stage once again.
