In the book, she calls abortion a “fundamental right of individual liberty,” a bold statement considering the controversial nature of the topic. Melania reportedly writes that women must have the freedom to decide if and when they want to have children without pressure or control from the government.
She explained in the interview that restricting a woman’s ability to make this choice is the same as denying her control over her own life. Melania shared that this belief has shaped her views since she was a young adult.
