Ramaswamy: Trump Wins Easy Unless Biden Is Replaced

(DailyAnswer.org) – Former 2024 Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has claimed that if the Democrats do not replace President Joe Biden as a candidate in the election, former President Donald Trump will win. He said that Trump is set to “mop the floor” with Biden in November and noted that even Democrats are questioning the viability of the current president’s campaign. Though he speaks favorably about Trump, Ramaswamy previously suggested that the MAGA movement needs a new leader. Since dropping out of the election, Ramaswamy, along with former candidate Ron DeSantis, publicly endorsed Trump, and the former president has revealed that he is considering both DeSantis and Ramaswamy for the role of vice president.

In January, DeSantis and Ramaswamy both expressed their doubts that there could be a legitimate victory for Biden in November. Echoing Trump’s claims about the 2020 election results, the two did not rule out the possibility of election fraud, and they vowed to not turn a blind eye to it if it occurs. Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley, however, said that she would accept the results in November. Political analyst and FiveThirtyEight founder Nate Silver argued in February 2024 that if the president cannot run a normal political campaign, he should step down. Silver suggested that the 81-year-old is working on the blind hope that the polls are inaccurate.

Biden’s popularity has been declining over the last year due to increasing concerns about his age, memory, and mental fitness, and Silver noted that the president’s decision not to be interviewed at the 2024 Super Bowl meant he skipped an important “tradition” often expected from a presidential campaign. The Democratic National Committee is not only worried about Trump’s campaign, however, but that of Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as well, as it escalates its attacks on the candidate and accuses Trump donors of funding both campaigns to take more votes away from Biden. According to an NBC poll, 34% of voters would consider voting for Kennedy.

With many voters expressing concern about the border crisis and the Biden administration’s economic policies, the president is declining in popularity among young voters, who were a key demographic in securing his 2020 election victory. According to the latest poll considered by FiveThirtyEight, Trump is leading over Biden by 22 points. Another poll conducted in February 2024 revealed that 86% of voters do not think Biden is not mentally well enough for another term.
