RFK Jr Warns Biden: Approving Missiles to Ukraine is Reckless

(DailyAnswer.org) –Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently criticized President Biden’s administration for sending long-range missiles to Ukraine. He sees this as a dangerous move that could make the situation worse. Kennedy shared his thoughts on social media, urging Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken to stop escalating the conflict. He claimed that he’s not speaking as a politician but as a concerned citizen.

The debate centers on whether the U.S. should allow Ukraine to use these long-range missiles to attack targets inside Russia. So far, Ukraine has mainly used Western weapons for defense, not for offensive strikes on Russian soil. However, Ukrainian forces have begun attacking Russian territory in hopes of shifting the war’s balance. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been pushing the U.S. and NATO to drop their restrictions, allowing Ukraine to strike inside Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin responded by warning that if NATO removes these restrictions, it could be seen as an act of war. He stressed that any further escalation could bring serious consequences, implying that Russia would retaliate based on the new threats it faces.

Despite the warnings, support from the U.S. and NATO has helped Ukraine hold its ground. Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has come at a high cost for Russia, both in terms of human lives and national resources. His actions have even pushed countries like Sweden and Finland to join NATO, a move that strengthens the alliance against him.

Former CIA Moscow station chief Dan Hoffman weighed in on the matter, saying Putin’s threats are often meant to scare the U.S. into holding back its support for Ukraine. Hoffman believes that these threats shouldn’t dictate how the U.S. helps Ukraine. He pointed out that the Biden administration has often been slow to send important military aid but eventually comes through, though sometimes too late to make a big difference in the war.
