Suspect Laughed During Movie Theater Stabbing Spree, Victim’s Mom Says

(DailyAnswer.org) – A mother in Massachusetts whose daughters were among six victims injured in a stabbing spree across two towns has claimed that the suspect was laughing throughout the attack.

According to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office Jared Ravizza, 26, faces several charges following his arrest after the nighttime assaults in Braintree and Plymouth on May 25. The Braintree attack was carried out at an AMC movie theater, before the attacker continued his stabbing spree at a rest stop in Plymouth. Lisa Debowski told reporters that she drove straight to the movie theater after her sister was contacted by the oldest daughter. Police stated that four females aged between 9 and 17 received injuries that were not life-threatening.

According to Dembowski, the attacker approached the four girls from behind just after they got their concessions. She said her oldest daughter was stabbed in the back when she leaned over to get something before her other daughter was stabbed in the top of her chest. The attacker then reportedly attacked the third daughter and a friend of the sisters before fleeing the scene. Connecticut State Police have revealed that there is a separate investigation underway into Ravizza over a possible connection to the murder of 70-year-old Bruce Feldman, who died from stab wounds. Feldman’s body was found in Pine River on the same day as the stabbing spree. Police followed Ravizza’s vehicle as he fled the scene in Plymouth, before he crashed and was taken into custody. The suspect has been ordered to undergo a competency evaluation.

Ravizza was arrested in April and charged with vandalism, battery and assault after allegedly attacking his father Jason, who is a psychologist. Jason, who has over 35 years of experience in the field, told police that his son had a “mental break” before attacking him. Neighbors described Ravizza as a “weirdo” who is very close to his father. The suspect reportedly wore a blonde wig as he carried out the assault on May 25. Ravizza claims to lead an agency specializing in digital marketing and social media management, and has over 218,000 followers on Instagram. Six-year-old posts show a young man whose photos were occasionally commented on by his friends. After a period of absence, Ravizza returned to the site, using a “she” pronoun, and began posting more photos of his physique, Porsche cars and even drug paraphernalia.
