(DailyAnswer.org) – Actor Chance Perdomo, 27, has died in a motorcycle accident, his representative confirmed in a statement to Fox News Digital on March 30.
The statement announced the news on behalf of the family with “heavy hearts.” No additional details about the accident were provided. Perdomo starred in Gen V, the college-focused spin-off of Amazon’s series The Boys, and Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios expressed their condolences to Perdomo’s family, calling the actor “charming” and a “force of nature.” The motorcycle accident reportedly involved no other parties. Representatives asked for the family’s privacy to be respected.
The actor was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Southampton, UK. He studied law before starting an acting career in 2017 when he had a role in the CBBC series Hetty Feather. Perdomo was named as one of the “Breakthrough Brits” by Bafta in 2019 for his part in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The filming of Gen V’s second season has been indefinitely delayed in response to the actor’s death.
Perdomo was reportedly on his way to Toronto to meet co-stars for a script readthrough of the planned second season. Production finished in February of the actor’s final project, Bad Man, an upcoming independent movie. Seann William Scott, Johnny Simmons, and Rob Riggle starred in Bad Man alongside Perdomo. The actor played Polaris in Gen V, a character with magnetic superpowers. Polaris was a close friend of Golden Boy, played by Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Patrick took to X to mourn the loss of the actor.
Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television representatives stated that the whole “family” working on Gen V was “devastated” by Perdomo’s sudden passing. The statement released by the actor’s representative noted his love for the arts and lust for life, as well as the warmth he showed to those he loved.
