(DailyAnswer.org) – Country singer Wynonna Judd’s daughter, Grace Pauline Kelley, can’t seem to stay out of trouble and is once again in police custody for new charges after already being charged with prostitution in April.
On Saturday, Aug. 3, police arrested the 28-year-old in Georgia, hitting her with three new misdemeanor counts for fleeing from or trying to evade law enforcement, improperly using motorcycle equipment, and driving with a license that’s suspended. Kelley was booked at the Carroll County Jail before she was released on a bond of $2,750.
Kelley is the daughter of country music singer Wynonna Ellen Judd, who was born Christina Claire Ciminella, and businessman Arch Kelley III. Wynonna is one of the most awarded and widely recognized female country singers in history, achieving 19 singles charting No. 1, including as part of the mother-daughter duo The Judds, with her mother Naomi Judd. In 2022, Wynonna was inducted into the County Music Hall of Fame alongside her mother just a day after Naomi committed suicide at the age of 76 as a result of a long fight with mental health issues and depression.
Four months ago, Kelley was arrested for indecent exposure for allegedly flashing her breasts “and lower body” on a highway in Alabama while waving a sign that read, “Ride for a Ride.” She was also charged with obstruction of governmental operations, and then prosecutors added a charge of prostitution solicitation a week later. The incident occurred in Millbrook, Alabama, at the crossroads of Highway 14 and Interstate 65 during a time of high traffic. After drivers reported Kelley, police showed up to find her scantily dressed and walking down the highway carrying her hitchhiking sign.
Her history of crime also dates further back to 2015 when she was arrested on drug-related charges. A jury sentenced Kelley in 2018 to eight years behind bars for violating probation. She was released early in 2019 until she ended up back in jail after another violation of probation.
Kelley gave birth to a daughter in March 2022 while out of jail on leave of absence, after which her mother began taking care of the child. In an interview the following October, Wynonna said taking care of her granddaughter has helped her cope with her mother Naomi’s death.
